Thinking so much about getting out of the Bridge apartment complex is killing me.
I want to move more than anything, but I'm worried about affording it.
Alden and I might drive through east Millcreek this evening to look for rentals.

........

A few days ago Austin turns to Alden and says "Hey, you want to go see a move about monkeys?"
I flinch and wrinkle my nose. Not that 'Space Chimps' thing..
"Yeah!" Alden sang out.
"Well, your mom doesn't, cause she's a hater. But we'll go and make her come and we'll all have a good time."
Austin bought our tickets and all of our treats (including getting me SourPatch watermelons; he doesn't like them much but knows I sure do) and we watched the movie; and it actually wasn't that bad. Definitely worth seeing in the dollar theaters at least. I think I even laughed a little.

While Alden spent the weekend with his dad, however... Austin and I went to see "Burn After Reading" and it was awful.

I didn't like it at all. Not one bit.

(More later. Away I go!)

If by 'awful' you meant 'wonderful' you would be dead on. But, it's definitely not a movie that you take a GF to. It's full of shitty people who don't care about anyone except themselves. Just like real life.

It's true
lipstick & fake lashes

Hahah Trevor.. that part about the lousy people is most certainly true. I hate that they are out there in real life.
And maybe the movie had some good parts... I can see the "guy humor" in it where things were supposed to be funny...
But I guess I'm just not the type to laugh at hatchet attacks.

Re: It's true

It was the scene right after the hatchet attack that made it even better.

Re: It's true
best thing in life

I don't remember? You mean the conversation in the office? I think I was still a little taken aback that yes, the sidewalk scene outside Osbourne's house really did just happen, that I didn't pay much attention to what immediately followed.

I thought Cox was going to pop a vein during one of his freak-outs though and kill over. I was waiting.. crossing my fingers.. for it to happen. Or maybe I just don't like Malkovich much.
